Modrić caves, wonder of the underground

 

The caves are situated in the village Modric, nearby the National Park Paclenica, about 40 km away from Zadar en B&B Kuca Bajlo.

The caves were discovered in the 80 years of last century and it was closed for visitors until 2004.

Speleology

Equipped with overalls, helmet and lamp one discovers in an adventurous and unique way,all the wonders of the world under the ground.

Visiting this caves is anything but a typical touirist visit. There are no stairs, no paths, no lights inside. Only in small groups of minimum 2 persons, people can enter.

The length of the cave is 840 meters, and the temperature is constantly 15 degrees.

Three hours of caving accompanied by a specialized guide certainly provides you with an adrenaline kick.
